King Roland II	Wow. You've become quite the expert in astronomy, Amber. I'm really proud of you.
Princess Amber	Thanks, Daddy.
Queen Miranda	Okay, stargazers, time for bed.
Princess Amber	Just a few more minutes. I wish I could stare up at the stars all night.
King Roland II	That reminds me. When I was a boy, we used star stones to turn the ceiling of my bedroom into a planetarium.
Princess Amber	That sounds amazing.
Prince James	What are star stones, Dad?
King Roland II	They're little star-shaped stones that glow. They can only be found on Swamp Rock Hill.
Princess Sofia	My Buttercup troop is going on an overnight hike to Swamp Rock Hill next week.
Princess Amber	Oh, that's perfect. You can bring some back for me.
Queen Miranda	Maybe you can go on the hike with the Buttercups.
Princess Sofia	That's a great idea. New Buttercups are always welcome.
Princess Amber	Me, hike? No, thanks. I'm more of an indoor princess.
Princess Sofia	But, Amber, it'll be fun.
Princess Amber	Mmm. Trudging through the wilderness is not my idea of fun.
King Roland II	Oh, Amber, you've been spending too much time cooped up in the castle, decorating parasols, and... and hosting tea parties.
Princess Amber	I'm a princess. It's what we do.
Princess Sofia	We also fly magic carpets and rescue princes. Remember?
Princess Amber	Remember? I'm getting tired just thinking about it.
Queen Miranda	Amber, how do you know hiking won't be fun unless you try it?
Princess Sofia	You can sing songs around the campfire with the troop. Roast marshmallows. Imagine lying in bed and looking up at a ceiling full of stars.
Princess Amber	Well, if that's the only way I'll get the star stones, I'll go on your little hike.
Princess Sofia	Great. And just you wait, Amber. I'm going to make an outdoor princess out of you.

Princess Amber	I'm ready.
Princess Sofia	Uh, I thought Mom told you to dress for the outdoors.
Princess Amber	I did. See the leaves and flowers?
Helen Hanshaw	Oh, Princess Amber. We're so glad you're coming along. But the wilderness can be a bit rough on fancy gowns and shoes. How about a snappy new Buttercup uniform instead?
Princess Amber	Oh, no, I couldn't.
Helen Hanshaw	All new Buttercups get one.
Princess Amber	But I'm not a Buttercup. I'm just coming along for the star stones.
Helen Hanshaw	Well, suit yourself, but it's a long trip.
Princess Amber	Oh, don't worry. I've got everything I need. Violet, Suzette.
Helen Hanshaw	Princess, I'm afraid there are no servants allowed on this hike. And you can only bring what you can carry. But don't worry. I've already packed it with everything you'll need.
Princess Amber	What is this stuff?
Princess Sofia	Camping gear. This is an overnight trip.
Princess Amber	Oh, right. Well, I'll just add a few essentials.

Princess Sofia	There's no carriage. We're walking.

Jade	Keep a lookout, Ruby. This could be the hike where we finally catch a glimpse of Mossy the swamp monster.
Princess Amber	Did you say swamp monster?
Ruby Hanshaw	Uh-huh. Legend says he roams the swamps around Swamp Rock Hill.
Princess Amber	No one said anything about a swamp monster.
Princess Sofia	That's because it's just a legend. No one's ever proven he's real.
Ruby Hanshaw	Not yet. But we're gonna track him down and draw his picture.
Jade	They'll put it in the Enchancia Enquirer for sure.
Ruby Hanshaw	And we'll be famous!
Princess Amber	Not if we all get eaten by the swamp monster. Oh! Oh, my shoe! Oh, my favorite princess pumps. How am I supposed to keep hiking with a broken shoe?
Helen Hanshaw	I can help you with that, Princess.
Princess Amber	Really?
Helen Hanshaw	Mmm-hmm. Try these instead.
Princess Amber	Oh, no. Princesses don't wear boots.
Princess Sofia	I do.
Princess Amber	Well, they clash with my gown, and anything else I might ever wear.
Helen Hanshaw	Go ahead and try them. Your feet will thank me for it.
Princess Sofia	Let me help you. Buttercups always lend each other a hand.
Princess Amber	I'm sure they do, Sofia, but I am not a Buttercup. I can't hike as fast as you. What if I get lost out here?
Princess Sofia	Here you go. Take your trouble whistle. If you ever have an emergency, just blow it as loud as you can, and the Buttercups will come running.
Helen Hanshaw	What's the emergency?
Princess Sofia	What's wrong?
Princess Amber	I'm wearing boots.
Princess Sofia	Amber, that is not an emergency.
Princess Amber	It is to me. This new gown isn't any easier to hike in than the old one. How long before we get to the star stones?
Princess Sofia	Oh, not until tomorrow. We're camping out tonight.
Princess Amber	Camping out? Is that like having a sleepover?

Jade	Look at these tracks. I've never seen anything like them.
Ruby Hanshaw	Only a swamp monster can make tracks like that.

Helen Hanshaw	Round up, Buttercups. It's time for a special treat. Float fruit.
Meg	Why do they call them that?

Princess Sofia	Aren't you coming, Amber?

Helen Hanshaw	It's a sweet skunk. Their scent smells nice, like lavender.
Princess Amber	I've never seen one before.
Helen Hanshaw	That's because you only find them out here in the wild.
Princess Amber	Huh. I think I finally found something about the outdoors I like. Oh, that smells even better than my perfume. You know, maybe this Buttercup stuff isn't so bad after all.
Buttercups	Buttercups, Buttercups, never pout. Buttercups, Buttercups, sing and shout!
Princess Amber	I could live without all the cheering, though.
Jade	What's that? Could it be...
Ruby Hanshaw	The call of the swamp monster? It's gotta be Mossy.
Jade	Are you sure?
Ruby Hanshaw	Positive. Get ready to see the mysterious swamp... ...owl?
Helen Hanshaw	Ruby, Jade, I know you really wanna see the swamp monster, but please, don't run off like that. We have to stick together.
Jade	Sorry, Mrs. Hanshaw.
Ruby Hanshaw	Okay, Mom.
Helen Hanshaw	Hold up, Buttercups. This is the perfect spot for our campsite. Everyone get out your tents and set up camp.
Princess Amber	What are you doing?
Princess Sofia	We're sleeping here tonight.
Princess Amber	Out here, on the ground? In one of those?
Princess Sofia	Yep. It's fun.
Princess Amber	But where are the feather beds? The silk comforters, the harpist to play me a lullaby?

Helen Hanshaw	Well, you seem to have some steam in your stride this morning, Princess Amber.
Princess Amber	You were right about these boots, Miss Hanshaw.
Princess Sofia	See, Amber? You are an outdoor princess.
Princess Amber	No, I'm not. I just wanna find the star stones to we can get out of this stinky swamp.
Ruby Hanshaw	Keep a lookout for Mossy. This is the swamp monster's natural habitat.
Helen Hanshaw	This is it, Buttercups. Swamp Rock Hill.
Peg	It's so rocky.
Princess Amber	Where are the star stones?
Helen Hanshaw	They're hidden in between the rocks. You have to search for them. So get searchin', and be careful.
Princess Amber	Here I go. Oh, I can't wait to find them. I don't see any. Do you, Sofia?
Princess Sofia	No, I don't.
Ruby Hanshaw	None over here.
Jade	Where are they?
Helen Hanshaw	Waiting for you to find them. Spread out, Buttercups, and keep looking.
Princess Amber	Don't tell me I came all this way for nothing.
Ruby Hanshaw	I still don't see any star stones.
Helen Hanshaw	Well, let's regroup back at the trail and find another place to look.
Buttercups	It's Mossy.
Jade	The swamp monster.
Princess Amber	Where?
Princess Sofia	That's not a monster. That's my sister.
Princess Amber	Huh? I do look like a monster. This is horrible. I look like a swamp monster, and I smell like sweaty feet. A princess should not smell like sweaty feet.

Helen Hanshaw	Oh, cheer up, Buttercup. It's just a little mud.
Princess Amber	I am not a Buttercup. I hate the outdoors. I hate everything about it. This is the worst trip I've ever been on.
Princess Sofia	But you were having a good time last night.
Princess Amber	Well, I'm not now. And there aren't even any star stones. That's it. I'm going home.
Helen Hanshaw	Princess Amber.

Peg	It's too slippery to climb back up.
Helen Hanshaw	Looks like we're going to need some help.
Princess Sofia	Did you hear that? The Buttercups must be in trouble. You can go if you want to, but I'm going to help my friends. It's Mossy. He's blocking the trail. I've gotta find a way to make him move.
Princess Amber	You mean we have to find a way. They're my friends, too.
Princess Sofia	Good, 'cause I have an idea.
Princess Amber	You do?
Princess Sofia	Uh-huh. But it means we'll both have to jump in that mud.
Princess Amber	What? No way.
Princess Sofia	Amber, a little dirt is no big deal. You can always wash it off later. And don't you think saving our friends is more important?

Mossy	People frighten Mossy most terribly. They're always chasing Mossy.
Princess Sofia	But we only came to help our friends.
Princess Amber	And find some star stones.
Mossy	Star stones? Mossy loves the wondrous glow of star stones.
Princess Amber	So, so you like jewelry, do you?

Princess Sofia	We could try tying that moss into ropes.

Princess Sofia	Making rope is kind of like braiding hair.
Princess Amber	It is? Well, in that case, let me at it.
Princess Sofia	Hang on, everyone. We'll get you out of there.

Mossy	Oh, Mossy is most impressed with your rope-making ability.
