Background

Her daughter is Princess Zooey. According to her, they have travelled extensively and Zooey has never attended school before.

She and her daughter were given a tour of Royal Prep by Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. During the tour, Zooey kept claiming to see a baboon with a peacock tail as well as a flying rabbit and a hopping dragon but Queen Avery though that she was just making up reasons to dislike the school. Later while they were touring the gym, Queen Avery bore witness to the baboon-peacock bursting in and wrecking the place before Sofia, James, Amber and Vivian managed to fix everything. She showed herself to be a reasonable and good-humoured woman by stating that she did not mind it when mishaps occurred so long as people learned from them and it also made things much more interesting. Her daughter agreed with her and decided that Royal Prep was indeed something she would like.

She made cameo appearances in "Sidekick Clio" and "Her Royal Spyness", attending the school play and Roland's birthday celebration.
