Crispy is a dragon who appears in the episode "Bad Little Dragon" as the One-Time Antagonist. He tries to use his cuteness to rob the Palace of Zumaria's Jewel Room.

Personality

Crispy is a no-good crook who gets what he wants by acting cute, pretending to be a baby dragon, and stealing. He also has the "Yeah, See" speech patterns of a 1920's gangster.

Physical Appearance

Crispy is a grown up dragon who just has the size, small wings, and face of a baby dragon. His entire body is amber and his eyes are blue. Crispy's fire is green, though he often breathes smoke to look like a hatchling who hasn't gotten his fire yet.

Role in the series

In “Bad Little Dragon,” Crispy first appears when Vivian and Sofia find him. Because he looks so cute, they bring him back to Zumaria Castle. Vivian asks her parents if she can keep him, and they agree. Vivian constantly fusses over Crispy, making Crackle feel ignored and left out.

Later, Crackle discovers that Crispy is not a baby dragon at all, but an adult dragon who only appears young because of his small size. Crispy reveals that he planned to rob the castle’s Jewel Room and frame Crackle for his misdeeds so she would take the blame.

After Crackle learns the truth, Clover tells Sofia about Crispy’s real nature. Sofia and Clover confront Crispy in the Jewel Room. Shocked that Sofia can understand him, Crispy locks her inside, but she escapes by using her shrinking ability to fit through the keyhole. Crispy’s mistake is underestimating Sofia, who chases him straight into Vivian and Crackle. Crackle catches him, and a constable arrives to arrest Crispy and take him to a fireproof cell.
