Zooey: I hereby bring this meeting of the Princess Adventure Club to order. First, I have an important announcement. At next week's meeting, we will present the Princess Adventure Club's Scroll of Discovery.

Hildegard: The Scroll of Discovery?

Amber: The scroll of what?

Sofia: Um... what is that again, Zooey?

Zooey: It's a list of the amazing things each member of our club has discovered on our adventures. And the best part, it'll be displayed in the school trophy case for everyone to see.

Sofia: You mean like when I found that ancient idol in the temples of Tangu?

Zooey: Exactly. That was an amazing discovery.

Clio: And I discovered that new species of rainbow moth.

Amber: And I discovered a star. Amberina Major. Did you get that? "Amberina" means it was named after me.

Zooey: Yeah, we got it.

Sofia: How about you, Hildy? What have you discovered?

Hildegard: Oh, uh... it's... it's hard to choose. So many big things come to mind.

Zooey: So, everyone think about what to put under your name on the Scroll of Discovery, and have it ready for next week. Now, the second order of business... our next adventure. Follow me to the map room, and I'll tell you all about it.

Sofia: What's wrong, Hildy?

Hildegard: Nothing, except everyone else has discovered such incredible things. What have I done in the club? Seriously, Sofia, make me a list.

Sofia: Um, you're always very well dressed.

Hildegard: Keep going.

Sofia: And your hair always looks nice?

Hildegard: Yes, I look fabulous. But suddenly, that doesn't seem as impressive as, say, discovering a star. Oh. Face it, Sofia, I'm mediocre.

Sofia: Oh, Hildy, you're just as good as anyone in the club.

Hildegard: But I'm supposed to be better than everyone in the club.

Sofia: You're making too much of this. It's just a scroll.

Hildegard: Just a scroll? Everyone in the school will look at it to see what our accomplishments were, and they'll see that I was... ugh, unmemorable.

Sofia: Well, we have a new adventure coming up. Who knows? Maybe you'll discover something amazing on this trip that you can put in the scroll.

Hildegard: That's right. I've still got time to find something. The best something anyone has ever found.

Zooey: For our next Princess Adventure Club trip, I propose that we explore the Lost Pyramids of Khaldoun.

Amber: Uh, how can the pyramids be lost when you have a map of them?

Zooey: They were lost for ages. An evil wizard named Hizzan built them to hide his stolen treasures. But just recently, the famous archeomagicologist Princess Cassandra, who is my hero and my pen pal, made headlines by discovering four of them.

Clio: What's an archeomagicologist?

Zooey: Somebody who studies ancient magical objects. And no one's better at it than Cassandra. Just look at all these books she's written.

Hildegard: And her name is on all of them. Now that is impressive.

Sofia: You said she found four of the lost pyramids. How many are there?

Zooey: Five. And the fifth one has the greatest treasure of all.

Sofia: How do we find it?

Zooey: It won't be easy. Legends say the five pyramids were laid out in some kind of pattern, but no one has ever figured it out.

Hildegard: Oh, please. If this archeomagi-whosits Cassandra can't find the fifth pyramid, what hope do we have?

Sofia: Hildegard...

Hildegard: I say we forget this and come up with something easier for me to discover. I mean, us... to discover.

Sofia: Hildegard, look. Could the evil wizard have arranged his pyramids in the shape of a hand?

Zooey: Nice detective work, Sofia. If your theory is correct, then the fifth pyramid would be right where Hildy's thumb is.

Hildegard: My thumb?

Sofia: There's only one way to find out. Zooey, let's fire up the hydrofoil.

Zooey: Princess Adventure Club, let's find the Lost Pyramid of Khaldoun.

Hildegard: And to think, I'm the one who made this discovery. My name is going to be in books, just like Princess Cassandra. Hip-hip hooray for me.

Zooey: Uh, Hildy, Sofia is actually the one who figured it out.

Hildegard: But I put my thumb on it.

Zooey: Yeah, but that was just by chance.

Hildegard: Was it, Zooey?

Sofia: Hildy has a point. I never would've figured it out without her hand being there.

Hildegard: See?

Zooey: Uh, okay.

Hildegard: Oh, Sofia, thanks for letting me take the credit for this.

Sofia: It's okay, Hildy. I don't mind sharing the credit.

Hildegard: Sharing? What do you mean?

Sofia: Well, we both played a part in the discovery, so it was kind of a team effort.

Hildegard: What? No one will be impressed if I was just a part of a "team effort." You've already done so much, Sofia. Why can't you give me this one itty-bitty huge discover for myself?

Sofia: Because it isn't the truth, Hildy.

Hildegard: Well, if you're going to be a stickler, I'll just have to discover something even more super-important on this trip that I can claim credit for all by myself.

Pilot: So you want me to fly you to this empty patch of desert?

Zooey: Yeah. Take a left at the pinkie and head for the thumb.

Pilot: Aye, aye, Captain Zooey.

Clio: Hey, someone's flying towards us.

Cassandra: The Princess Adventure Club, I presume?

Zooey: Princess Cassandra. I sent her a message.

Cassandra: And when I heard that you had possibly discovered the missing fifth pyramid of Khaldoun, I had to see for myself.

Zooey: She's going to be our guide.

Cassandra: It's great to meet you all. So, which one of you figured it out?

Hildegard: Well, actually, I...

Sofia: It was a team effort.

Cassandra: Monumental. Every archeomagicologist needs as much help as she can get. Sally, dismount.

Amber: What is that?

Cassandra: This is Sally, my guide lemur. She helps me get around without bumping into things.

Zooey: Cassandra, are you blind?

Cassandra: What gave me away? Are my socks mismatched again?

Zooey: You never mentioned in your letters you couldn't see.

Cassandra: Well, you never mentioned you could.

Zooey: Good point.

Pilot: Attention, everyone. We have arrived.

Cassandra: Monumental. So what do you say, princesses? Shall we go make history?

Pilot: Brace for landing! Prepare to disembark.

Hildegard: Watch out, watch out. One side. One side, please. I'm going to be the first one to find...

Cassandra: Tell me what you see.

Hildegard: Just sand. Sand, sand, and more sand. There's no pyramid here. I guess Sofia got it wrong.

Zooey: I thought you said it was your idea.

Hildegard: Well, that's when I thought it was a good idea.

Cassandra: It might still be. That wizard, Hizzan, was pretty tricky. This pyramid is probably hidden even better than the others.

Hildegard: I'll find it! Hey, I found a rock... and another rock. And here's a third rock.

Amber: But no pyramid. Ugh! We're never going to find it this way.

Hildegard: Oh, if only there was some way to clear all this sand away.

Cassandra: Sometimes, the answer to a problem is staring you right in the face, and you don't even know it.

Zooey: It is staring me in the face. I know how to blow the sand away. Everyone, quick, get back on the hydrofoil. I've got an idea.

Sofia: Zooey, you did it!

Clio: Yeah, look at that stone with the picture of a...

Hildegard: A sphinx! I see it. And I'm closest. Maybe if I just...

Sofia: Uh... wow.

Hildegard: I did it! I found the Lost Pyramid!

Clio: Well, you and Zooey. She came up with the idea to blow the sand away.

Hildegard: Ugh! Another team effort? This whole trip is turning out to be a royal bummer.

Cassandra: But we've just begun. There's a lot more to do than just locate the pyramid. We've got to explore it and find the treasure. So, who's first?

Hildegard: Me! Me! Me! Hey, it's dark in here. How are we going to see where we're going?

Cassandra: The other pyramids were lined with Forever Torches along the walls. Feel around, and find one.

Sofia: Got one.

Cassandra: Now pull on it. Does it light up?

Amber: Yes!

Sofia: Amazing.

Zooey: Way to go, Cassandra.

Hildegard: Oh! It's a dead end. There's no way forward. Just this writing on the wall.

Cassandra: Hieroglyphics? Monumental!

Zooey: A long time ago, people used to write in pictures instead of words.

Sofia: Should we describe them to you?

Cassandra: No need. This is how I fell in love with archeomagicology. Because it's carved in the stone, I can read the writing with my fingers. Beautiful. Just as I suspected. It's here.

Clio: What's here?

Cassandra: Each of Hizzan's pyramids had a magic treasure in it, but this one holds the greatest treasure of all.

Zooey: The Oasis Stone.

Cassandra: Exactly, Zooey. The whole valley used to be lush with plants and animals. If we can find the Oasis Stone, we can magically restore it to the way it was.

Clio: We should totally do that.

Cassandra: These symbols say the Oasis Stone rests in the central chamber of the pyramid. But the wizard placed many challenges and traps along the way. If we follow the jackal symbols, they'll lead us to the central chamber. Someone press this symbol, and away we'll go.

Hildegard: A magical stone that will restore life to the desert? I'm going to be the first one to find it.

Clio: A secret door. I love this already.

Hildegard: I'm first. I'm first. I'm... whoa! It's a pit. We can't get through.

Sofia: That must be the first trap.

Cassandra: There's always a way to get through. You just have to look.

Clio: I don't see a way.

Cassandra: That's because you're looking with your eyes. Close them, and try reaching out with your other senses. What do you smell?

Amber: Hildy's perfume. Oh, it's nice.

Hildegard: Thank you, Amber. It's my own fragrance. Fleur de Freezenburg.

Cassandra: Anything else?

Sofia: I smell moss.

Clio: I do too.

Cassandra: Good. Sally, find the moss.

Hildegard: Yup.

Cassandra: And it's just the ticket to get us across this pit. There you go. You're starting to see that you don't always have to rely on what you see. Sometimes, your other senses can get you through.

Sofia: Excuse me, Miss Sphinx. You made a mistake. You said your job was to capture anyone to tries to take the Oasis Stone. But Hildy didn't try to get it all by herself.

Sphinx: Well, she said she did.

Sofia: Well, she didn't. Not alone. I helped figure out where the pyramid was on the map.

Zooey: And I came up with a way to blow the sand off the stones and get us into this place.

Cassandra: And I've been reading the hieroglyphics along the way.

Sofia: King Nasir? What are you doing here?

Nasir: It isn't every day the ground rumbles and an ancient pyramid magically rises from nowhere. Is it the fabled fifth pyramid?
