| Open at Enchancia Castle. | |
| Clover | Clover says spin in a circle. |
| Princess Sofia | Here goes. Whoa! |
| Clover | Nice! Clover says hop in the air as high as you can go. Is that really the highest you can go? Come on! |
| Princess Sofia | Wait. Let me try it again. Oh. I wish I was a rabbit! [suddenly, her amulet glows and she turns into a rabbit like Clover.] Whoa! What just happened? |
| Clover | Whoa, Sof! |
| Princess Sofia | My amulet must have done this. I wish I was a person again. [turns back to normal] Whoa! |
| Clover | I didn't know you could do that. |
| Princess Sofia | Neither did I. Ever since I helped free Princess Elena from my amulet, it's been doing strange things. |
| Clover | What do you think is going on? |
| Princess Sofia | I'm not sure, but I need to find out. |
| Cut to Cedric's workshop. | |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Oh, Wormy, my faithful raven. Look at that. Good old Hexley Hall, where I was teamed with the best sidekick a sorcerer could hope for. |
| Clover | Wish I could say the same. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | It's missing something, isn't it? I know. It's missing you. I'll just add your picture to the portrait. Entavo paintavo! [Wormwood gets sent into the painting.] Ah! That is not what I meant to do! |
| Wormwood | Of course not. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Don't worry, Wormy. I'll get you out of there. Uh, Leavario paintavo? [nothing happens] Exitus paintavo? [again, nothing] |
| Princess Sofia | Mr. Cedric, I need your help. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | One moment, princess. Can't you see I've got a magical emergency on my hands? |
| Princess Sofia | Sorry. [sees Wormwood stuck in the painting] Oh, I did the same thing once in my enchanted art class. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Oh. Well, you don't happen to remember the magic words to get someone out of the painting, do you? |
| Princess Sofia | Sure. Outo paintuvo. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | You are quite right. I was only testing you, and those are, in fact, the magic words. Well done. Outo paintuvo! [Wormwood gets teleported out.] There you are. Out in a jiffy, just as I promised, Wormy. Very well. Now what's this about needing my help? |
| Princess Sofia | It's my amulet. It turned me into a rabbit and then back again. It's really been acting strange lately. |
| Wormwood | Are you sure you want to ask him for help? [squawks] |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Stop your squawking, Wormwood. The princess is trying to tell us something extremely important about her amulet. |
| Princess Sofia | I'm not sure if you knew this or not, but there used to be a princess trapped inside my amulet, and after I freed her, it turned from purple to pink. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | [stammers] A princess? Trapped? The amulet turned pink? None of that is in my book. |
| Princess Sofia | It was a big secret. Ever since the amulet changed colors, it's been acting different. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | The powers inside it must've changed as well. But how? |
| Princess Sofia | There must be a way to find out. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Yes. If only we knew. |
| Wormwood | Hexley Hall. [squawks] We could go to Hexley Hall. [squawks] |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Hush, Wormwood. I'm trying to think of someplace we could go that would have more information on the amulet. |
| Wormwood | Hexley Hall. |
| Princess Sofia | Mr. Cedric, what about this place? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Hexley Hall! Of course! The school library is filled with books all about magical objects. One of them will surely tell us more about your amulet. Ha-ha, another brilliant idea by Cedric the sensational. |
| Wormwood | By me, you mean. |
| Princess Sofia | Can we go right now? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Right now is perfect. It's a three-day weekend, so there won't be any pesky students to get in our way. Come, Wormy. It is time we go back to school. We are going to learn all the amulet's secrets, and maybe even discover how I can finally get it for myself. |
| Cut to Hexley Hall. | |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Oh, Hexley Hall, my old sorcering grounds. I learned everything I know about magic behind these walls. |
| Wormwood | All three spells. |
| Princess Sofia | Wormwood, what is going on between you and Mr. Cedric? You've been complaining about him nonstop, and it's not very nice. |
| Wormwood | Because he's a nonstop buffoon. How would you feel if you were assigned to a bumbling fool of a master that does nothing but humiliate you? I've had enough of it. |
| Princess Sofia | Well, I've never heard Mr. Cedric say one bad thing about you. |
| Wormwood | Why would he? I'm perfect. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Gentlemen, if you please. |
| The statues open the doors. | |
| Princess Sofia | Wow. Thank you. |
| Cut to the interior. | |
| Princess Sofia | I've never seen a school like this. It's like Royal Prep, only... |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Better. Much, much better. |
| Suddenly, Grimtrix appears in a puff of smoke. | |
| Grimtrix | Cedric, my old friend. What a pleasant surprise. Please, let me take your coats. [takes them off and puts them on a rack, which then disappears] Can I get you something to drink? A snack? Some popcorn, perhaps. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | No, thank you. Princess Sofia, this is the headmaster of Hexley Hall, Grimtrix the Good. And boy, he is good. |
| Grimtrix | Oh, Cedric, still assisting the royals of Enchancia, I see. Now, why don't you tell me what you and the princess are doing here on a Saturday. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Well, um, Princess Sofia here needs to consult some books for... a homework assignment for her, oh, let me see. Alchemy class at Royal Prep. |
| Wormwood | He can't even tell a silly white lie properly. |
| Wriggley | Hello, Wormy. |
| Wormwood | Oh! |
| Wriggley | Still a bit skittish, I see. Just like the old days. |
| Wormwood | And I see that you're still a weasel, Wriggley. |
| Wriggley | Listen, friend, we should celebrate your return to Hexley Hall. Some of the old gang sill lives here at the school, assisting professors and such. Let's all get together for a little reunion, grab a bite, catch up. |
| Wormwood | Why? So I can listen to you all brag about how brilliant your masters are? No, thank you. That's one thing I do not miss from our school days. |
| Wriggley | Oh, come now. It won't be like that. Besides, we can meet in the conjeteria. |
| Wormwood | That's still here? Oh, how I've missed being able to conjure anything I want. |
| Wriggley | So it's settled then. I'll fetch you around lunch time. |
| Wormwood | Yes, I suppose I could find the t-time. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | [offscreen] Wormwood, we have work to do. |
| Grimtrix | Can I walk you to the library? Help you find the books you need? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | No, no, I'm sure you're very busy doing good deeds and all that. We can find the library ourselves. |
| Grimtrix | Ooh, in that case, happy reading. [he disappears] |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Finally! He's even more annoyingly nice than I remember. Blech! Now, the library is right up the stairs. |
| Princess Sofia | But there are no stairs. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Oh, but certainly there are. [As he steps, the previous stair heads in front of the other.] Well, are you coming or aren't you? |
| Princess Sofia | Oh, right. Wait for me. |
| Cut to the library. | |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Ah, the library! I studied for many a test in here. |
| Wormwood | And failed most of them. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Now, what we need to find is... |
| Shusher | Shh! |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Ah, yes, the shusher. I remember you. Don't worry. We'll keep quiet. Now, Sofia, there are thousands of books in here. One of them must mention the Amulet of Avalor. Take me to the books about magical objects... [the ladder takes him away] Oh, wait! |
| Wormwood | Oh, it pains me to call him my master. |
| Cedric finds the book and the ladder takes him down. | |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Look. Look what I found. A book about the kingdom of Avalor, which has an entire chapter on magical jewelry. |
| Princess Sofia | Great job, Mr. Cedric. That's the ancient civilization of Maru. My amulet was made there. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Yes, and it says here that long ago, Maruvian sorcerers made jewelry with special magical properties. With time and practice, those who wear the pieces can unlock unbelievable power. |
| Princess Sofia | But I never did anything to unlock my powers. Princess Elena just gave them to me when she felt I'd done a good deed. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Ah. You mean she used to, when she was inside your amulet. But now that she's gone, you are in control of the powers! |
| Princess Sofia | Me? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | You gave yourself the power to turn into a rabbit, not Princess Elena! |
| Princess Sofia | Can I turn into any animal I want? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Let's find out. |
| Princess Sofia | I want to be an elephant. [Nothing happens.] |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Try something else. |
| Princess Sofia | An ostrich. [Still, nothing.] |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Hmm. |
| Princess Sofia | [Looks over at Wormwood] I want to be a raven. [She turns into a raven just like Wormwood.] Whoa! |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Fascinating. It appears you must be looking at the actual animal you wish to transform into. |
| Princess Sofia | I can't believe this! Squawk, squawk! [laughs] Okay. I'm ready to be myself again. [turns back to normal] Whoa! That was incredible. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Yes, it certainly was! [walks out of her earshot; to Wormwood] Oh, Wormy, who knows what more powers we could unlock or what we could do with those powers?! |
| Wormwood | You'd probably just bungle it. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | [loudly] Ah, Princess Sofia. The amulet is more powerful than ever! |
| Shusher | Shh! |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Sorry. |
| Princess Sofia | Sorry. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | For once, I agree with that wretched shusher. We must all keep quiet lest anyone learn about your amulet's powers. |
| Princess Sofia | I won't tell anyone. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Good! Then let's read on. |
| Shusher | Shh! |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Oh, you shush. [he trips on the bookcase, causing books to fall on him.] |
| Wriggley | Well, Wormy, I came to fetch you. But this is far more entertaining. So you ready to go, or are you busy helping your master with important work? |
| Wormwood | Oh, let's go. |
| Cut to Wormwood and Wriggley heading to the congruities, where they meet up with Pumpkin and Chester. | |
| Wriggley | You remember Chester and Pumpkin. |
| Pumpkin | Hey, Wormy's back. |
| Chester | Birdbrain, old buddy. |
| Wormwood | Really, Pumpkin? You can conjure anything you want in the conjeteria, and you choose a ball of yarn. |
| Pumpkin | What? They're fun. |
| Chester | You haven't changed a bit, cranky wings. |
| Pumpkin | Yeah. What are you gonna conjure if you're so good at it, Wormwood? |
| Wormwood | Well, I haven't given it much thought. It's been a long time. I would like a large piece of the finest peanut brittle. |
| Wizard Hat | As you wish. |
| Wormwood | I must tell you, I really miss this place. I'm rather sick of eating birdseed, you know. |
| Wriggley | I'll take the usual. So tell us, Wormwood, what has Cedric been up to since our school days? |
| Wormwood | Oh, a little of this, a little of that. |
| Wriggley | Like doing magic tricks at birthday parties? |
| Pumpkin | Oh! |
| Chester | Oh, word on the street is, your master isn't exactly the best sorcerer in the kingdom. |
| Wormwood | That is simply not true. Cedric does very important work for the king sometimes. Occasionally. Well, he did it once. |
| Wriggley | How sad for you. Meanwhile, our masters have been up to all sorts of great things.

One of the most powerful objects in the world, thank you very much. And once he finally gets it from Princess Sofia, then we'll see who has the most powerful master. |
| Wriggley | Are you telling me there's a super powerful amulet here in Hexley Hall? |
| Chester | Bobbin' around that princess' neck? |
| Pumpkin | My master would really like one of those. |
| Chester | [laughs] So would mine. |
| Wormwood | Wait, no. I wasn't supposed to tell you anything. |
| Wriggley | Oh, but you did. |
| Wormwood | [As Wriggley, Pumpkin, and Chester leave] Stop. Come back. What have I done? |
| Cut to the library. | |
| Wormwood | Princess Sofia, Princess Sofia! Oh, thank goodness! You still have the amulet. |
| Princess Sofia | Of course I do. What are you talking about? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | I found us more books... [the ladder takes him away and more books fall on him] |
| Princess Sofia | Let me help you with those. |
| Wriggley | Ooh! Here comes the amulet. |
| Princess Sofia | Aw. Whose cute little pet is this? |
| Wormwood | Sofia, that weasel is dangerous. |
| Princess Sofia | Don't be silly. She's adorable. |
| Wriggley | [tries to take the amulet] Aren't I? |
| Princess Sofia | Oops. Careful there. That's my necklace. |
| Wriggley | Not for long, princess. |
| Wormwood | They're after your amulet. |
| Princess Sofia | They're what? |
| Wormwood | Run, Sofia. I'll hold them off. Scram. Scram, all of you. |
| Princess Sofia | Mr. Cedric, those animals are trying to take my amulet. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | What? We must get you out of here. Come on, Wormy. |
| Princess Sofia | Hurry. |
| Sofia and Cedric then head in the potion room and lock its doors shut. | |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | They're just animals. How do they even know about the Amulet of Avalor? We'll be safe in here. |
| Princess Sofia | Where are we? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | This is the potion room. It holds every type of potion ever created. Perhaps one of them will help us elude those criminal creatures. Hmm. What is this one? [He tests it and floats in the air.] Oh, no. A floating potion. Not what I was looking for. Oh, it's all right. I can reverse it, if I can only reach my wand. |
| Princess Sofia | Wormwood, why were you worried about someone taking my amulet before those animals even showed up? Were you the one who told them about it? |
| Wormwood | I didn't mean to do it. It was a mistake. Oh, Cedric makes them all the time. |
| Princess Sofia | Of course he makes mistakes. Everyone does. |
| Wormwood | But the other animals, they were going on and on about what a fool Cedric is. |
| Princess Sofia | That's what you've been saying all day, too. Don't you see that when someone is your friend, you accept them, flaws and all. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Almost got it. Whoops! [he drops the liquid from a potion on the floor] Oh, no. |
| The potion spills on Wormwood. | |
| Wormwood | How many indignities must one raven suffer? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Oh, it's only a little spill, Wormy. I'll find you a towel... [gasps] Wait. I understood that. Wormwood, you can talk! |
| Wormwood | You can understand me? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | I can. This must've been a speaking potion, which means, from now on, I'll finally be able to understand all the lovely, sweet things you chirp while we're in the workshop. |
| Wormwood | Yes, all those charmingly sweet things I always say about you. |
| Princess Sofia | I think it's great. Now that you can understand each other, I'm sure you'll get along even better. |
| Wormwood | Your wand. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Got it. Oh, thank you, Wormy. This speaking potion is already coming in handy. Oh, and so will this floating potion. Reverse-o! [he falls to the floor] Oh, perhaps I should've found the soft landing potion before doing that. |
| Grimtrix | [offscreen] Oh, dear, [as he enters] I heard some commotion. Do you need a hand with anything? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | No, no, no, no, no, it, it's nothing. We just had a little trouble with a potion. |
| Grimtrix | Might I offer some assistance? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | We're fine. Thank you. Sorry for any disturbance. |
| Princess Sofia | Maybe we should've asked for his help. Isn't he a good sorcerer? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Yes. Annoyingly so. But we cannot allow yet another person to find out you have the Amulet of Avalor. We must leave Hexley Hall right away. Follow me. [they head out of the potion room.] Quickly now! [they head down the stairs.] |
| Wriggley then takes Sofia's amulet. | |
| Princess Sofia | My amulet! |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | No! |
| Wriggley escapes via a small opening. | |
| Princess Sofia | She has my amulet. All because you had to go tell those animals about it, Wormwood. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | What is she talking about, Wormy? You had nothing to do with this, did you? |
| Wormwood | Well, I didn't mean to tell them. It just slipped out. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | How could you? |
| Wormwood | It was a simple mistake. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | That was no mistake. It was part of a scheme for you and your animal cohorts to get the amulet for yourselves! |
| Wormwood | No, no, no. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | I can't believe you'd betray me like this, Wormwood. After everything we've been through. We are finished! Go find yourself a new master. |
| Wormwood | I'm so sorry. I wish I'd never told them. I... Oh! I'm an even worse bungler than he is. I've got to fix this. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Not to worry, Princess. I remember where this leads. The wanditorium. We can find the weasel there. |
| Princess Sofia | Let's go. |
| Cut to the wanditorium. | |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | This is it. The wanditorium. Aha! We found that sneaky pest. |
| Princess Sofia | Hurry! Give me my amulet back. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Or we shall take it back. |
| Wriggley | Go ahead. I dare ya. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Alaka... [Wriggley steals Cedric's wand.] Whoa! That weasel's got my wand. |
| Princess Sofia | Can you use one of these? [points to a wand] |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Oh, they're special wands that each cast only one spell. |
| Princess Sofia | Uh, try this one. [throws the ice beam wand to Cedric] |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | An ice beam wand. Oh, let me see. Glacia externico! [tries it three times but Wriggley dodges the shots; Sofia hands Cedric another wand] Trapezo webium. [Wriggley dodges the shot and is about to escape through a vent] |
| Princess Sofia | She's going to get away. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Zappezius! Zappezius! Zappezius! Zappezius. |
| Wormwood chases Wriggley. | |
| Wormwood | Just try and weasel your way past me, Wriggley. |
| Princess Sofia | Way to go, Wormwood. [Sofia then hands Cedric a standstill wand.] |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | A standstill wand. Stop goes the weasel! |
| Wriggley then freezes. | |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Ha-ha! |
| Princess Sofia | Got it! [sighs and put the amulet back on] You know, Mr. Cedric, I never would've gotten it back if it wasn't for Wormwood. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Hmm? |
| Princess Sofia | I know he made a mistake, but can't you give him another chance? Remember, none of us are perfect. |
| Wormwood | Not even I, it seems. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Since you put it that way, what do you say, Wormy? Shall we team up once more? |
| Wormwood | We shall indeed, sir. |
| Grimtrix | What is going on in here? |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | We didn't want to have to tell you this, Grimtrix, but your weasel stole Princess Sofia's amulet. |
| Grimtrix | Actually, that was me. I sent Wriggley to retrieve it. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | You? But why would you do such a thing? |
| Grimtrix | I couldn't let you leave with that precious amulet, now could I? |
| Princess Sofia | You knew about my amulet this whole time? |
| Grimtrix | Let's just say I like to keep an eye on my visitors. [shows footage of Sofia turning herself into a raven] |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | [stammers] I don't understand. You did something bad? But you've always been so good. |
| Grimtrix | Well, Cedric, there comes a time when a sorcerer [produces a throne] grows tired of living under the rule of kings and queens, and then he sees that he himself should be the one to rule. I never saw a way to make that happen until the Amulet of Avalor practically fell into my lap. Now, [he starts to magnetize Sofia's amulet into his grasp] hand it over. |
| Princess Sofia | No! Mr. Cedric, help! |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Stopicus... |
| Grimtrix | Shush. [The shusher stops Cedric] You, of all people, should understand, Cedric. Aren't you sick of being a glorified jester for King Roland? |
| Princess Sofia | His spell is too strong. |
| Grimtrix | Why don't you just give me the amulet? |
| Princess Sofia | Never! |
| Pumpkin and Chester then arrive. | |
| Chester | Ha ha ha! Found the amulet. |
| Pumpkin | Uh oh, looks like Grimtrix found it first. |
| Princess Sofia | I want to be a bulldog! [turns into a bulldog] |
| Grimtrix | What's this? |
| Princess Sofia | Your spell doesn't feel so strong now, Grimtrix. Take that! |
| The crystal ball then shatters, causing the shusher to break away from Cedric. | |
| Grimtrix | My crystal ball! |
| Princess Sofia | I wish to be myself again. [turns back to normal] |
| Wormwood | Princess, look out behind you! |
| Pumpkin | Now's our chance. |
| Princess Sofia | The floating potion. |
| Cedric pours the potion on himself and Sofia, causing Pumpkin and Chester to collide with each other. | |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Out this way. Come on, Wormy. |
| Wormwood | I hope you all learned never to underestimate my master again. I certainly did. |
| Cut to the outside of Hexley Hall. | |
| Princess Sofia | Great job, Mr. Cedric. Now let's get out of here before Grimtrix catches up to us. |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Right, princess. Here you are. Oh, Wormy, I'm glad we're back together again. |
| Wormwood | As am I. I realize now that neither of us is perfect. |
| Princess Sofia | But you're perfect for each other. [she then heads inside the coach] |
| Cedric the Sorcerer | Yes, indeed. The perfect team. |
| Cedric then enters the coach, which leaves Hexley Hall as the episode ends. | |
